She is indeed a thug in a cocktail dress. She can be dirty, dangerous, stinky, sticky; she will lift you up right before slamming you down; she rarely apologizes; she waits for no one.
But this past weekend, NYC was awfully well behaved. And looking lovely in spring colors.
So you forgive her for past transgressions. Will she knock you down again? Yes, probably. But until then, you'll enjoy the view.
