A Great Light
December Photo Project Day #7

Radio City & 30 Rock
Radio City Music Hall & 30 Rock

Ain't it pretty? There are beautiful light displays all over the city right now, totally worthy of oooh-ing and ahhh-ing.

The challenge, I find, is remembering to save the lion's share of my admiration for the light that came before and shone even brighter than Radio City:

"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned...

For you have shattered the yoke that burdens them and
the staff on their shoulder and the rod of their oppressor...

For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.

He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever."

(Isaiah 9:2-7)

Nice. I'd love to be in NYC during the holiday season!
