Today...
as I was sitting in the sunshine...
near the U.N....
lunching on Vietnamese chicken meatballs...
half-reading a book for a lecture I would later attend...
and half-watching a fox terrier nap on the bench opposite me...
I thought to myself...
"Self, sometimes this town is all right."
PS - Hello, Daylight Savings Time! I feel like I am sneaking out of work every day this week, as the sun is still shining when I leave here at 5:30pm. Sweet!
