When asked for a list of my proudest accomplishments in the year 2012, I would have to include this afternoon's Houdini-like escape from a company-wide (soul-sucking) two-hour meeting, and the ensuing afternoon in Central Park which I purchased with stolen freedom.
Best thing I've done all week.

So, I'm thinking about day-tripping up to your fair city next weekend. I've just learned of the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park. Have you been? If not, what have you heard?
The Bryant Park shops are very similar to the Columbus Circle holiday shops - cute, unique stuff, but on the pricey side. Nice for a browse (and for a cup of high-end hot chocolate!)
