You know when people will sometimes say, ever so drolly, "I need a vacation from my vacation"?
Well, I need a weekend from my weekend.
It was one of those types.
It was ups, it was downs, it was taxing, it was amusing, it was great, it was horrible, it was D) All of the above.
I stood on a stage, I watched Kelsey Grammer stand on a stage, I laughed in a bar on Eighth Avenue, I cried on a sidewalk close to home, I felt loved, I felt un-heard, I went to class, I went to church, I ate Venezuelan food and Greek food and pizza and a hamburger and...
And now it is Monday. And I think I better go to the gym.

I both hate and love those kind of weekends. Sure they're fun, but they're exhausting!
